Strategic alliance between the law firm and technology provider offers efficiency and cost savings for general counsel
ContractPod® today (14 August, 2017) announces a new strategic alliance with commercial law firm Radius Law. Aimed principally at general counsel across the UK, the collaboration has been set up to provide an innovative solution for delivering legal services by harnessing best in class contract automation, workflow automation and contract lifecycle technology.
As part of the strategic alliance, Radius Law will now offer its client base access to ContractPod®, the best in class contract management solution, in addition to its high value legal services. The strategic alliance is expected to support digital transformation of many in-house legal teams across the UK. This hand-in-glove approach is thought to enable both parties to provide technology led contract management services to support the needs of GCs.
Commenting on the announcement, Iain Larkins, managing director and founder of Radius Law, said:
There has been a growing interest among GCs in innovative and collaborative solutions from external providers. This plays well to our proposition, a law firm and legal services technology provider joining forces to provide greater value to in-house legal teams. We look forward to working with ContractPod® in developing a long-term partnership to offer general counsel a service that caters for their rapidly changing needs.
ContractPod® founder and co-CEO Sarvarth Misra said:
We believe a seamless solution that combines high-value legal advice with a scalable and cost effective legal technology solution will appeal greatly to in-house counsel. We recognise the growing pressure now on general counsel to be creative and innovative and provide technology led legal services to drive efficiency with their legal operations. We are excited to partner with a progressive and commercially focused operation such as Radius Law. Radius’ commercial team will be implementing ContractPod®’s state of the art contract automation and lifecycle management functionality to assemble and automate routine and commoditisable contracts and documents for its own use and that of its clients.
